The history of the Copa Faulconbridge

The Copa Faulconbridge has a long and rich history within Spanish tennis. The tournament was first played in 1933, quickly becoming one of the most important competitions in the national calendar.

Over the decades, the event has welcomed many great players and memorable matches on the clay courts of Valencia, contributing to the development of tennis in the region.

After more than two decades without being held, the tournament returned in 2022, marking the beginning of a new era.

Today, as an ATP Challenger 175, the Copa Faulconbridge combines its historic legacy with a modern vision, bringing world-class tennis back to Valencia and continuing to write new chapters in its long tradition.
